29k-Mile 1991 Toyota MR2 Turbo 5-Speed for sale on BaT Auctions – ending September 26 (Lot #164,289)

This 1991 Toyota MR2 Turbo was purchased by the seller from the family of the original owner in 2017, and it now shows 29k miles following registration history in Indiana and Illinois. The car is powered by a mid-mounted turbocharged 2.0L inline-four mated to a five-speed manual transaxle, and it is finished in Signal Yellow over black cloth upholstery. Equipment includes removable glass T-top roof panels, pop-up headlights, 14″ five-spoke wheels, fog lights, a rear spoiler, power steering, anti-lock brakes, twin bucket seats, cruise control, air conditioning, a power antenna, and an CD/cassette stereo. This SW20 MR2 Turbo is offered with a clean Illinois title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Signal yellow and features include removable glass T-top roof panels, pop-up headlights, fog lights, a rear spoiler, a power antenna, dual side air intakes, and dual exhaust outlets. An accident with another motor vehicle is noted in a July 2020 entry on the Carfax report, which resulted in damage to the left side, left rear, and rear of the car. Silver 14″ five-spoke aluminum alloy wheels are mounted with Mastercraft SRT Touring tires. The car features power steering and a four-wheel independent MacPherson strut suspension. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted anti-lock disc brakes with ventilated rotors at all four corners.

The cabin features sport bucket seats upholstered in black cloth with patterned inserts. The mid-mounted turbocharged 2.0L 3S-GTE inline-four produced 200 horsepower and 200 lb-ft of torque when new.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle.

The Carfax report lists the aforementioned July 2020 damage and at least one open recall.
